What is a fall block?
A fall arrest block is an essential safety tool used to prevent accidents when working at height. Fall arrest blocks act as an attachment mechanism that connects to a safety line and allows the worker to move safely while preventing falls in the event of an accident. Fall arrest blocks can be used on different roof structures and are designed to be easy to install and use.

How to use
Function and use of fall arrest blocks
Fall arrest blocks can be used both horizontally and vertically, making them ideal for various applications. They consist of a line or wire that automatically rolls in and out, minimizing slack and reducing the risk of tripping accidents. If a fall occurs, a braking mechanism is activated, instantly stopping the fall and protecting the user.
At Mul10 ProSafe we offer fall arrest blocks in lengths of 10m, 15m and 20m - all approved for both horizontal (with support line) and vertical use. Our blocks are made of impact-resistant plastic and have an automatic retractable wire for easy handling. Flexible joints prevent the wire from twisting during use.
To ensure optimal function and safety, fall arrest systems must be installed correctly and checked regularly. All our fall arrest blocks are approved according to EN 360 standards.
Rules and legislation for fall protection blocks
Using fall protection equipment correctly is not only about choosing the right equipment, but also about complying with legislation. In Denmark, there are strict rules for fall protection in the workplace. It is the employer's responsibility to ensure that employees have the correct fall protection equipment when working at heights. Our fall arrest blocks comply with all applicable regulations. In addition, we offer advice on proper implementation in your safety system to ensure your workplace complies with legislation and has the right equipment.
Benefits of fall arrest blocks
Fall arrest blocks have several key benefits that make them an indispensable part of a safe working environment:
- Increased safety - Effectively protects against falls on both flat and pitched roofs
- Prevents workplace accidents - Reduces the risk of serious workplace accidents and increases safety
- Easy handling - Ensures easy handling and freedom of movement, ideal for larger workspaces
